Complete customization of your emails

July 13th, 2009 by gaby

For the last few months we were getting lot of emails from our clients to change the text of emails. Earlier we allowed clients to modify the content of the emails except header and footer. We did that on purpose to make it easy for our clients. We have clients from different countries and every country has its own style of writing.

Finally we decided to make it more generalized while keeping the balance between the ease of use and complete control over emails. Thanks to everybody for your valuable suggestions.

So, we request everybody to login into your account and customize your emails completely. Please do not hesitate to send us more suggestions and comments.

Bug Fixes and logical changes

1. We have fixed Google Calendar Synchronization issue. If you have multiple calendars in Google calendar then you can now select which calendar you want to update.
2. Added Polish Language.
3. Added more customer information such as city, state, country on calendar and customer tab.
4. Added more filters in reports.
5. Improved pre-payment flow.
6. Added customer’s appointment history on customer tab.

If we have missed something then please send us your feedback at contact@appointy.com

What you think about Appointy!

There are lot of things happening here at Appointy and we are amazed and thankful to everyone for giving us such a great response. I am pasting some of the extracts of what people are saying:

“I am actually very impressed with the appointy scheduling software. So far it is probably the best appointment software out there for our needs and I would like to test it out on our site.”

Jonathan Wolinsky
The JunkLuggers

“Wow! Thank you for such a fast and friendly response. If there is ONE thing that can make companies stand out here in the U.S., it’s great customer service/customer attention. This doesn’t mean, of course, that the ‘customer is always right’, as the cliche’ tells us, but it seems so easy to stand out in a positive way when people are nice, they listen, and they work with their customers rather than against them. I suppose this can become more difficult to keep in control as a company grows, but those who figure it out are sure to go far. Thank you for your response. “

Dave
www.LibertyJukebox.us

“I set up Appointy account just to get used to the process of doing it and to see how it works; your system is really well done, and we are very likely to use/integrate it in the future for our clients.”

Rodrigo Flores
Stagecoach Designs

“This looks like a very cool service. I will buy some SMS credits on the new account.”

Jon Fox
12thharmonic Blog

These are just a few of them. We have over hundreds of appraisals and we will try to publish all of them ASAP. In the meantime, if you also have something to say then please email us at contact@appointy.com.

Cheers

When we started with Appointy we had various things in mind which could help anyone to manage and market their business. The idea is finally taking shape. We have just started and there are lot more features coming.

Some of the new feature Hightlights:

1. Reschedule appointments from one day to another by dragging the Appointment over any date on month view on the side bar.

3. New payment gateway - Authorize.NET

4. Custom Emails – Add additional information to emails sent after confirmed booking, unapproved booking, and on rescheduling etc. All these emails would go from your email address, so your clients can now reply to your email.

5. Premium Memberships – We have introduced 2 new paid memberships, PLUS and PRO. Click here to compare these memberships.

6. Custom background – Now you can have your custom background on your calendar. For personal account you can upload your image or for business you can upload related image to give more credibility and feel of your business.

7. ICAL Support – Now you can subscribe directly to your appointment feeds. You can synchronize it with calendaring desktop tools like windows calendar, Outlook, Apple ICal or any other program which supports ICal format.

8. Reports – We have just introduced a basic report which tell about your financials between a date range. More reports coming soon.

9. Better integration on your website – Now you can further reduce the size of your Appointy Iframe window to 560px. We have reduced the size of login window and it looks better than before.

Appointy in fbFund Competition

September 11th, 2008 by gaby
in Events with No Comments »

We have submitted our nomination for fbFund competition in August and are hoping to come in top 25 applications. Below is our pitch done beautifully by Gaby:

We have made lot of strategies to execute appointy. It’s a great application but without proper strategies we will not land anywhere. We have planned everything in advance and we are executing things and we are glad to say that things are better than we thought. It’s good for us.

We are a small company and the fbFund grant will help us a lot. The first submission is for $25,000 and the second would be for $250,000 which is enough for a startup like us.

So keep your fingers crossed.

You can read more about the Facebook fbFund here.

Appointy’s style…What do you think?

August 5th, 2008 by gaby
in Launch with 1 Comment »

Hola, I am Gabriela Lechin. This is my first post and I am thrilled to present my thoughts.

Today we have released the new and latest version of the Appointy’s website. We designed about 3 previous concepts but were not satisfied until our fourth try, which you will be able to find online today.  Appointy is an easy but far from simple appointment mgmt. system. It is much, much more than what meets the eye, so we needed to design it in such a way that it would be understandable to all.

The Challenge:

1. Our main and most difficult challenge was designing the homepage. Appointy has lots of concepts and features grouped into one entity. In its simplest form, Appointy is an appointment mgmt. system capable to grow your business exponentially, by spreading your word-of-mouth publicity. It is also a search engine, where visitors can search and book appointments in their area instantly. And ultimately, Appointy’s viral marketing tools, which are the key to your business marketing success.

2. Appointy’s iconic image, which can be used to describe various Appointy features and concepts; friendly with great style, but at the same time versatile and easy to work with.

3. Combining vector, PSD and HTML image files, making them work together as one.

Solution:

1. After many discussions with the Appointy team we created the main page, which describes that Appointy is an appointment mgmt. system with the use of calendar image on top and the text explains how it will help you grow your business exponentially.

2. We added the yellow buddy (or as we call it in-house, the “yellow dude”), which will be used as an icon for Appointy.  We created various drafts to link this icon with the concept. I hope it will help you understand a little better about Appointy.

3. We think that Appointy is an innovative but classic concept, which integrates a lot more than what the eye can see. We wanted to bring this concept to the design process and give this look the header. So we used the Appointy corporate colors purple with image and vector elements hanging around and outside the banner, giving it a classic touch with the feel or being bigger than the standard mold. You can also see air blowing behind the calendar. With this we wanted to represent our concept of constant development and moving forward. Nothing stays still in Appointy, we are always moving forward.

Visitor’s first impression:

We showed the first look to our existing clients and the feedback was “WOW”. This is what everybody likes to hear after so much of hard work and so many late, late nights behind the computer.

How do you like the site? Please post your feedback as comments; we are always looking to improve and to move forward.
